We have 2 grandsons traveling the Autism road. While making this, I thought about all of my hopes while we travel this road. Some of my hopes are that one day my daughter will hear her son say "I love you" and that our youngest grandson will continue to speak. I hope that both of my daughter's continue to have strength with all they must endure with special diets, meltdowns, sleepless nights and therapies. I pray that their marriages survive all of the up's and down's that come with raising an autistic child. It's not an easy road to travel but it's also a road I can't imagine not being on with them.
I cling to hope... not just for a cure for Autism, although that would be wonderful, but finding the cause!
